I was busy with my work at the office during those days. Although there was not much work at the office, I used to keep myself busy studying the provisions related to audits.
There was a mail on my outlook, mentioning " Dear Anish/Sunil, you have been allotted for Statutory Audit of Fernhill Hotels Private Limited. When I saw that mail, I wasn't that much happy. Actually, I was supposed to be happy but my all expectations were in vain so many times earlier since I had received the same type of mail earlier before a month and till date we were still in office. Oh, if you are wondering who Anish is, he is a chartered and my senior for audit of Fernhill. We both were allotted for the same.
Finally, the day came on which we were to board the plane. I packed my bag-packs and necessary items, woke up at 3 am for the flight and I was already at T3 at 4:15 am. Our plane was to take off at 5:30 am. The reason I was so early was that it was my first time traveling on a plane and I was really excited about it. We checked in our baggage, took the boarding pass, checked in, and boarded the flight. While entering the plane, there was an air hostess welcoming us with a beautiful smile. We were sitting on it, and after a while, the engine started. Pilot Ashok took the plane on a runway and it finally slowly raised from the ground into the air.
When the plane was catching height, I was expecting to see the clouds. but when it did, the view was only okay. It wasn't that good. BUt can't complain since I saw that for the first time. I was expecting much more of that view but unfortunately, there wasn't any of that view for much longer. It's about 45 minutes to reach the destination. Feels as if long way to go...
